Pianos For Sale
Bell, Gourlay, Heintzman, Mason and Risch
A fine choice of Canadian pianos, regulated, reconditioned and rebuilt as appropriate for each make and style.

If you are looking for a used piano in good playable condition, let me know.  I specialize in finding pianos and fixing them.  Email me:  hhuestis@mdi.ca. If you have a good old upright you would like to have reconditioned or rebuilt, you have come to the right place.  That is my specialty.  Call me about the possibilities for your piano.

If you are looking for a piano, I strongly suggest that you get a copy of Larry Fine's THE PIANO BOOK.   It will  make you an intelligent buyer by showing you what to look for.  It is a gold mine of invaluable information.  You can check it out of the library or we can sell you a copy.

If you own a pump organ, harmonium or reed organ, chances are it takes too much pumping to make it play. These instruments are no longer made, and if you own one, it may be time to recover the bellows (all 3 of them), renew the pump straps and pedal carpets and give your heirloom a general cleaning.  Even the stop labels are available if the names have come loose.  These fine instruments will never be made again, so the ones that have survived this long should be saved for posterity.  Most pump organs have been so dreadfully out of tune for so long, that we have completely forgotten what they sound like.  Pump organs are often tuned only when they are renovated!  Now that they are used for folk music and recording, tuning is a more important issue.  Pitch may vary from A440 since these instruments are part of a past but nevertheless glorious age.  It is of utmost importance to preserve those instruments that survive!
